Clyde Leo Beissner joined his Heavenly Father on February 27, 2017, at the age of 82. He was a lifelong resident of San Antonio, having graduated from Central Catholic High School and St. Mary's University. He served in the US Navy, before returning to Texas to work as a CPA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Agnes Beissner. He is survived by his sisters and brother-in-law, Ann Smith, Irene Beissner, and Thomas Steckel, his nephews and nieces, Anthony (Michele) and Matthew Smith, Tiffany Delany-Bierbaum, and Cynthia Delany, as well as seven great-nephews and nieces, and his old Boxer, Nilla.

The family would like to thank Victor Leal, his devoted caregiver of five years, as well as Joey Vallejo, "China" Lankston, and the others who cared for Clyde so lovingly.
We request that, in lieu of flowers, you say a prayer for Clyde and cherish one another.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Luke's Catholic Church at 10:30 A.M. Monday, March 6, 2017. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
