Larry Dale Watson, of Springdale, Arkansas passed away Monday, March 13, 2017 at his farm in Swain, at the age of 68.

The son of Searl and Bertha (Weston) Watson was born September 1, 1948 in Harrison, Arkansas.

He was a retired machinist from Danaher Tool Group and lived in Springdale since 1971. He enjoyed spending time on his farm in Newton County and loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed bluegrass and gospel music and gardening. He was a lifetime member of the NRA.

Larry was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a caring friend, he also loved his dog Patches.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.

Larry is survived by his wife, Janice Watson of Springdale; his daughter, Jerri Bolstad and her husband Danny, and their children, Zac and Lindsey of Siloam Springs; three brothers, Searl Watson, Jr. and wife, Sandy of Cibolo, TX, Garry Watson and wife, Betty of Kansas City, KS and James Watson and wife, Marilyn of Deer; 1 sister, Paula Frank of Jasper; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Swain Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 PM at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.
