Dennie Jefferson Adams, 59, of East Lynn, WV, died Monday, March 13, 2017 at Teays Valley Hospital. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel by Elder Roger Maynard and Brother Josh Jarrell. Burial will follow at Wilson Cemetery in Genoa, WV. He was born February 1, 1958 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Billy and Lizzie Robertson Adams. Dennie was a retired Logger and was a member of the Labor’s Local #543. Also preceding him in death was a sister, Drema Kay Tomblin and husband Ray. Survivors include two daughters, Christine McCoy and husband, Billy of East Lynn, WV, Samantha Perry and husband, Michael of Genoa, WV; a son, Lee Adams and companion, Rachel Talbert of Wayne, WV, a sister Emma Wilson of East Lynn, WV; two brothers, Dwayne Adams and companion Emma Jean Matzdorff, whom was Dennie’s long time care giver, Billy Castle and wife, Billie Jean of Waverly, OH; 16 grandchildren, Alex and Ricky Davis, Zachary McCoy, J.T. Merritt, Jaxton Stephens, Kaitlyn Perry, Tyler Perry, Ethan McComas, Harmony Adams (Cory McDonnie), Dennie Adams, Billy Adams, Nicole, Ella and Elva Lambert, Gavyn Perry; a great grandson Charley McDonnie and one on the way; a very special nephew, Earl Wilson, Jr.; a host of other very special nieces and nephews and his special friend Martha Billups. Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 pm Wednesday at Morris Funeral Home, Wayne, WV.
