Daughter of Alice (nee Lowday) Largen of Malvern, South Australia and Harry Veit. Wife of Donald McLeish. Beatrice enlisted in Queen Alexandra's Imperial Military Nursing Service Reserve on 20 May 1915. She served as a Nurse in Egypt, Palestine and Mesopotamia. She returned to Australia 20 August 1918. She returned to England on 1 February 1919. She died aged 39 years.
