Chauncey Phelps passed away at his home 106 1/2 Hickory St, Friday at 3PM after a lingering illness aged 70 years. He is survived by his wife and eight children: Stella Horn, Margaret Landers, Nettie Miller, Lelia Lowe, Cecil and Helen Phelps, Lloyd and William Phelps, also two brothers. Funeral services at the home Monday at 1PM. Burial at Grass Lake.
