PERU - Mrs. Bertha Dynes, 83, formerly of Peru, died at the New View Nursing Home in Indianapolis about noon Wednesday. She had been ill several years.
She was born in Miami county in 1876 and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Thomas.
Her husband, Forrest Dynes, died several years ago. The only survivors are several nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services will be held from the Eikenberry funeral home at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. A.C. Underwood officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday.
