Mrs. Broyles was the daughter of Moses Overstreet, 1791-1871, and Lucinda (Mullins) Overstreet.

Saluda Ann Overstreet married George T. Broyles in Boyle County, Kentucky. Their marriage bond dated, May 15, 1858, shows W. T. Overstreet as the bondsman and that Moses Oversatreet gave parentsl consent for this marriage. It is recorded in Marriage Book #3 on page 381 in the County Clerk's office in Danville, Kentucky.
