Born August 10, 1950 in Clearfield she was the daughter of Charles Melvin Williams and Dora Hockenberry Williams Houle. She was affiliated with the First Baptist Church of Curwensville. She was employed at the Branding Iron as a cook and had also worked a the Former Captains Table and Dimeling Hotel.
On September 13, 1969 in Clearfield she wed Leslie James Canter who survives along with 3 children Charles James Canter and his wife Michelle, Tracy Ann Canter, and Holly Ann Canter all of Clearfield. A grandchild Kaitlin Canter of Clearfield, and a brother Richard Charles Williams and his wife Phyllis of Stonach.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a step father Albert Houle.
Funeral servieces will be held at Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc., Curwensville, tomorrow at 11 a.m. eith Pastor Daniel Osterhout, officiating.
Interment will follow at Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Friends will be recieved today from 2-4 and 7-9 at the funeral home.
