Alice M. Dillon, 78, of Harrisburg, passed away Monday, March 13, 2017 at The Gardens at Blue Ridge. She retired from Bell Atlantic of Pennsylvania; was a volunteer for Hospice of Central PA, Arthritis Foundation, Holy Spirit Hospital, Meals on Wheels and an Army veteran.

A member of St. Catherine Laboure Parish, where she was a Lector, Eucharistic Minister, Office Volunteer, on the Pastoral Council and Finance Committee, active in the RCIA Program, the Legion of Mary, and conducted Parish Bible Studies. She was also a Lay Associate of the Sisters of Christian Charity, Holy Spirit Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Major Henry S. and Earline E. (Franklin) Dillon. Surviving is her sister, Gloria A. Shawcross (Richard), of Enola; two nieces Jodi Shawcross and Jill Gouse ; and four grandnieces, Lucie and Genevieve Shawcross and Chloe and Claire Gouse.

The family will receive friends and acquaintances at Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg, PA 17111 from 10 to 11 am on Friday, March 24. Burial will be at Harrisburg East cemetery.
