Christine Marie Wright, age 20, of Woodinville, WA passed away March 13, 2017 of heart failure.

She was born in Winston Salem, North Carolina on July 26, 1996 and through the blessing of adoption became the daughter of Jason and Michelle Wright. She attended High School in both Eagle, ID and Woodinville, WA and graduated from Woodinville High School in 2015.

She was currently attending Brigham Young University-Idaho and was in her junior year studying Public Health with an emphasis in Biotechnology.

Christine was an incredible joy to her family, who had waited many years to welcome her to their family. She was a sweet, tender-hearted child, with wisdom beyond her years.

In high school she was a great friend and student as well as an artist and musician. She could sketch pretty much anything, and loved playing the saxophone, baritone sax, and drums in marching band. She was a self-taught pianist, and also played the ukulele. She was active in sports, including soccer, basketball, and softball.

She was an enthusiastic reader, and loved learning, taking AP classes and earning enough college credits in high school to start college as a Sophomore. As a high school student she participated in a college level programming class and led her team to win first place in Washington State and 3rd place at Nationals. She also earned her CNA and again won the state competition and participated in Nationals.

Christine was an active member of the LDS faith and earned her Young Womenhood Recognition and Honor Bee, graduated from seminary, and served in leadership roles in church.

She was wonderful with children and was a favorite aunt to her niece and nephews and enjoyed spending time with her cousins.

Christine was a cherished daughter of her earthly parents, and a valiant, obedient daughter of her Heavenly Father. To know Christine was to love Christine.

Christine leaves behind her parents: Jason Richard Wright and B. Michelle Wright, of Woodinville, WA; siblings: Heather E. (Lyndon R.) Bradshaw, of Farmington, UT and their three children; and her brother, Spencer J. Wright, of Woodinville.

Funeral services will be held Saturday March 18th at the LDS Chapel at 2535 Newcastle Dr. Sandy, UT. There will be a viewing from 1-1:45, chapel service at 2, followed by graveside dedication at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South, SLC.
