Anita worked as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant for several years at Newton Rest Haven in Newton, Illinois. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Effingham, Illinois.
Anita enjoyed singing, gardening and watching western movies.
Anita is survived by children – Cecelia Kessler (special friend Tony Stepp), Caryn (Chris) Cross and Michael Cowger all of Effingham, Illinois; grandchildren – Ashley, Heather, Courtney, DeAnna, Lacee, Brittany, Erika, Alec, Tylor, Tristan, Treyton, Natalie, Kaitlyn and Sierra; 8 great grandchildren; brother – Vernon Stiffler of Effingham, Illinois; sisters – Barbara Vanatta of Greenup, Illinois, Linda Wolff of Altamont, Illinois, Sharon Stiffler of Effingham, Illinois, Elaine Phelan of Little Rock, Arkansas, Wanda McCoy of Effingham, Illinois and Vickie Stiffler of Effingham, Illinois
Anita was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Nancee Forde and a brother Charles Stiffler.
