O'Banion Dies In Elwood

ELWOOD-Samuel Leslie O'Banion, died Saturday at his home, ___ N. D St., Elwood, after __ months of illness. Friends will be received at the Robert L. Jackley Funeral Home here after Sunday Noon Services will be conducted at the funeral home at 2 p. m.. Tuesday by the Rev. R. W. Sage of the First Baptist church here. Burial will be in the Elwood City Cemetery. The Masonic Lodge of this city will conduct a ritual service at the funeral home at 1 p. m. Monday.

He was born Aug. 10, 1871, at Owenton, Ky. He married Della Branscom in 1899. In 1902 they came to Elwood. He was for some time a grocer at Lake City, Tenn., with his brother. In Elwood he had been a foreman in the electrical department. He was a trustee of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include: the widow, Delia; two daughters, Miss Helen O'Banion, at home, and Mrs. Lois Bane of Warren, Ohio; a son, Claude, at home, and a brother, Frank O'Banion of Ogden, Utah.
