Son of Plemon Jack East and Mary Mozelle Barton. WWII Soldier- North African Campaign & Azors Islands. Welder on board the U.S. Missouri. He first married Iris Rose Cordell. After her untimely death, he married Flora Elizabeth Thaxton 05 Sept. 1943 in Jonesboro, GA. After Flora's death in 1963, He married Stella Christian. Children included William "Billy" Jr., Donnie Frank, Gerald "Jerry" Wayne, David Allen and Ricky Joe.
