John was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Marion. He was a WWII Air Force Veteran. John retired from GenCorp, Wabash, as a development engineer and was previously employed at Sheller-Globe, Montpelier. He formerly served on the board for Habitat for Humanity. John loved fishing on Lake Erie.
Survivors include son, John E. (Sue) Clark Jr., Port Clinton, Ohio; sisters, Jessie M. Hanson, Lakewood, Calif., and Rowena Greer, North Manchester; brothers, James (Chuney) Clark, Fort Wayne, and Richard (Ivy Dean) Clark, Wabash; grandchildren, Robin L. (Jay) Hensley, Toledo, Ohio, and Brian (Trang) Clark, Sheffield, Ohio; and three great-grandchildren.
