HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Lewis R. Wright, 89, of High Point, North Carolina, formerly of Ashland, husband of Marilyn Ekey Wright, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 14, 2017, in High Point.
He loved his family, and he loved sports-playing, watching, golf, basketball and softball.
In his working life, he was an accountant at Faultless Rubber Co./Abbott Laboratories, and before moving to North Carolina, he had been a long time member of Ashland First United Methodist Church.
In addition to his loving his wife, he is survived by his children, Mindy Wright of Columbus, Mark Wright and his wife, Christine Wright, of Jamestown, North Carolina; and his beloved grandsons, Andrew and Will Wright.
