Tina Abercrombie Burnham lived her life of 92 years grounded in the faith of the God who created her and she claimed the sure and certain hope of His life everlasting. So, on the afternoon of March 8, 2017, that faith came full circle as she stepped forward peacefully into that new life.
Her earthly journey began on February 19, 1925 in Coweta County where she was born to the late John Wesley and Annie Lee Coffey Abercrombie.
She would later be predeceased by her siblings Eunice Stowell, Agnes Abner, Johnnie Newby, Mamie Abercrombie, Kathryn Abercrombie and Grace Abercrombie, Raymond Abercrombie.
In 1993 she endured the loss of her cherished husband David Nelson Burnham, Jr. Tina led a quiet and simple life by most standards. She served as a teaching assistant at both Northside and Fairmount Schools. She found her joy in life as a wife, mother, grandmother and loyal friend. Her faith found its place of service as a member of Newnan First Baptist Church. Tina is survived by her children Kaye B. Knight and husband Dr. John C. Knight; David N. Burnham III and his wife Kelly M. Burnham. She was grandmother to David N. Burnham IV and his wife Maureen and Alyssa R. Burnham.
Of special importance to Tina during the time of her illness was her caregiver, confidant and loyal friend Kelly Yarborough.
Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
