Francis X. Arcement, Sr., 84, a native and resident of Raceland, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2017. Mass of Christian burial at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church with burial following in St. Mary Cemetery.

Francis was survived by three children, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and sisters, Alice, Doris, and Barbara.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Fonseca Arcement; parents, Armand Arcement, Sr. and Adeline Richard Arcement; brothers, Richard, Earl, Armand Jr. and Ashton Arcement and grandchild, Tika Arcement.

Francis was retired from Texaco.
