In July 2017 Dana Burbank's Bible printed in 1838 was sent to John Burbank in VT, the Bible having traveled from VT to IL where it was sold at an auction in or near Beardstown and sent by the buyer to her friend, Jim Baggs, in Bakersfield CA who had Hewitt family connections. There is an identification paragraph that reads:
"This Bible belonged to my grandfather Dana Burbank & Harriet his wife & was given to Sara Burbank Hewitt after Harriet Burbank died in 1883. These records of the Hewitt's Sara Burbank Hewitt's family were written by R. R. Hewitt...her husband as recorded."
