He had been a truck driver for Sysco Foods, and a security guard for Borders. He was also very involved in Bowling Green’s youth sports.
Mr. Branstetter is survived by his wife, Deborah Ellen Branstetter; daughter, Mary Lou Blair and husband Jerry; daughter, Laura Lee Yawn and husband Wesley and step-son, Matt Risk (Belinda); four grandchildren, Addison Blair, Gavin Yawn, Landon Yawn, and Carson Yawn; step-grandchildren, Amber, Brittany, and Chole; mother, Mary Willa Branstetter; brother, Harvey Branstetter and wife Lori and sons Lee Ward and Matt; and sister, Jerry Lawler and daughter Lee Ann.
The funeral service is scheduled for 1 PM Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial to follow in Munfordville. Visitation will be on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 5 – 8 PM and again on Saturday from 11 AM until funeral time at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home.
