September 25-- Reverend Steve Bryant, age 65, of Vidalia, died Thursday, September 24, 2015 in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah, after a brief illness.

He was born in Vidalia, and was a 1968 graduate of Claxton High School, and was a graduate of Georgia Southern University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology.

He was the pastor of United Fellowship Baptist Church in Oak Park for twenty-three years.

He retired after twenty-five years from the Georgia Department of Corrections as probation officer and counselor.

He was an avid golfer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Lester Bryant and Sarah Ann Howell Bryant.

Burial will be in the Glennville City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the United Fellowship Baptist Church, 2145 Railroad Avenue, Lyons GA 30436.
