Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Wells Tatum (1876-1956), 80, former resident of Jacksonville, were held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, at the Key-McCabe Funeral Home Chapel, Jacksonville, Rev. Russell F. Johnson, pastor of Springfield Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs., Tatum, widow of Junius M. Tatum, died Thursday after a long illness. She was born in Macon, Ga., and had lived in St. Augustine and Starke as well as in Jacksonville. She was an Episcopalian.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Rawson J. David, Starke; a son, Rufus J. Tatum, 1715 Prospect St., Jacksonville; one sister, Mrs. E. O. Causey, Palatka; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. (Palatka Daily News Obituary dtd Monday, 19 Mar 1956.)
