Robert Leonard of Hampton passed away March 24th 2017 at the young age of 65 Years & 65 Days. He leaves behind his loving wife and best friend of 35 years, Sharron. Robert was the second son of Raymond Odell Leonard & Betty Jean (Lyons) Leonard. Growing up, Robert was surrounded by loving brothers Allan, Richard, Jimmy, Timmy and Mike, along with his only sister, Debbie.
Robert was born on January 18th 1952 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. His family moved to Georgia when he and his brothers were young. Robert and his family remained in the Metro Atlanta area for the rest of their lives.
Robert was a very proud Marine, he served in the USMC from 1972 to 1974.
Robert had a smile that not only lit up the room, it lit up our lives.
