Susan G. Conti of Montrose, NY passed away on March 28, 2011, she was 84 years old.
Susan and her husband John Conti of Verplanck, owned and operated the Montrose Food Center for fifteen years.
She was born on May 25, 1926 in Minersville, PA to Samuel and Anna Barbaro Bono.
On March 25, 1947 Susan married John Conti in Minersville, PA.
She is survived by two daughters; Susanne (Frank) Alvado of Cortlandt Manor and Carol Heller of Montrose, four grandchildren; Bryan Heller, Donna Alvado, Michele (Acacio) Nunes and Carmen Alvado and two great grandchildren, Vincent and Brittany Altieri. Also surviving is a sister, Anna (George) Kubilus of Minersville, PA and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by, her husband John Conti, five sisters and four brothers.
Calling hours are Thursday, 5pm to 9pm at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY. The Funeral Mass is Friday, 10am at St. Augustine's Church. Interment will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
