Born July 21, 1919, in Concordia, Kansas aged 89. Peacefully joined our Lord February 16, 2009.
Devoted wife to the late Earl W. Smith and loving mother to Rodney A. Smith and the late Noreen McCarthy.
She is remembered lovingly by her daughter-in-law Katherine, and her granddaughters, Devon Smith and Heather McCarthy.
Survived by sister Dorothy Jafferies and brothers Francis "Buss" Peltier, and Brother Maurice Peltier. O.F.M and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary resided in Castro Valley for 60 years where she was involved in many Church organizations at Transfiguration Catholic Church. Visitation, Wed. Feb. 25th, 5-8:30pm at Guerrero Mortuary, 407 Estudillo Ave., San Leandro, Ca. Funeral mass, Thurs., Feb.26th at 11:00, Transfiguration Catholic Church, 4000 E. Castro Valley Blvd., Castro Valley, Ca.
Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward, immediately following will be a reception at Transfiguration Catholic Church.
