Allen R. Bole of 289 Fourth Ave. in Sharon passed away peacefully at 5:25 a.m. Thursday, July 10, 2003, in Nugent Convalescent Home, Hermitage. He was 93. Mr. Bole was born Sept.24, 1909,in Sharon, a son of Allen and Bessie Morgan Bole. He attended Sharon schools and was employed by the City of Sharon, where he worked as a sanitary engineer. He was also owner and operator of the former Gulf service station on East State Street and Oakland Avenue; and worked at one time for the former Sharon Hardware until its closing.

Mr. Bole was a member of Sharon Pentecostal Holiness Church in Hermitage. A Free and Accepted Mason, he was a member of Kedron Lodge 389 in West Middlesex and the former Lodge 250 in Sharon. He was an avid Cleveland Indians fan. His wife, the former Eleanor Seeley, whom he married June 23,1934, survives at home.

He also leaves: two sons, Gordon Bole, Hermitage; and the Rev. Ronald Bole and his wife Donna, Polk; on sister Dorthy Swartz, Hubbard; four grandchildren, James, Pam, Allen and David; and six great-grandchildren.

Mr. Bole was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, two infants and Florence Snyder; and five brothers, William, Lemuel, Howard, John and Thomas Bole.
