SPENCER - Gladys A. (Allen) Swallow, 89 of 40 Lincoln St., died Friday, Aug 16, in a Framingham nursing home.
Her husband, William E. Swallow, died in 1972. She leaves a son, William E. Swallow, Jr. of Sutton; a daughter, Janice A. Swallow of Atwater, Calif.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was born in Auburn and lived most of her life in Spencer.
Mrs. Swallow worked 15 years for Beacon Pharmacy, retiring in 1989. She was a member of First United Church and Rebecca Lodge.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesda, Aug 20, in Pillsbury Funeral Home, 163 Main Sreet. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour is 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug 20 in the funeral home.
