Alan was the son of Melvin B. and Esther Voss Paschal. He was an accountant and a member of St. Ann‘s Catholic Church in Midland. He married Marilyn Bishop, December 27, 1972, in El Paso County. He graduated from Odessa Permian High School in 1971. He referred high school football, was a Little League Coach and was a member of the Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Martha of Midland; sons, Jason Paschal of Odessa and James Paschal of Midland; parents, Melvin and Esther Paschal of Odessa; grandmother, Clara Paschal of Linn, Mo.; sisters, Sandra Paschal of Odessa and Susan Dodgen of Dodge, Texas; grandchildren, Vanessa and Amber Paschal.
