Sara was born in Ireland and made her way to the United States, settling in South Philadelphia. She met and married Daniel F. Nolan, they were devout Catholics. There were 10 children born of the marriage. Daniel worked for the US Postal service, and Sara was a Homemaker. Daniel passed away in 1952, leaving Sara in the care of their grown children. Sara passed away in 1959 due to advanced age and a bout with Parkinson's Disease. She and Daniel are survived by many Grandchildren, Great and Great-Great Grandchildren.
