BARTELL, BONNIE MAY, 83, Palm Valley, Oviedo, FL.
Bonnie served in the Women's Air Corp in World War II, Co-Owner Fort Pitt Grocery with late husband, Sam Turrisi, and member of American Legion Post 212 and Tuskawilla Methodist Church. She had numerous interests including sewing, knitting, crocheting, baking and ceramics, making her a part of many communities. She had the talent and skill to make almost anything with cloth, from clothes to drapes. Her skill in arts and crafts, from baking, ceramics and flower arranging was appreciated as gifts by her friends. Her generous and thoughtful presence and friendship will be deeply missed. She was a wonderful mother, fine friend and solid citizen. She will be interred in the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in California with her beloved husband Joe. Survivors:
Michael Turrisi, son, Tampa; Heather Turrisi, granddaughter, Suffield, CT; Evelyn Bacon, sister, Huron, SD; nieces, Augusta Austin, Seminole; Theresa White, St. Petersburg; Alma Richard, Winona, MI; nephews, Doug Lake, Pierre, SD; Jim Lake, Sioux Falls, SD Celebration and Remembrance at her home, Sunday, December 17, 2006, 1-4PM.
