Death Claims Doctor Brown,
Bridgewater

Bridgewater — Dr. Charles
Alfred Brown, 67, a retired
physician and psychiatrist,
died Saturday in his home.

He was born in Waterbury
Conn, attended schools there,
and was graduated from Yale
end Johns Hopkins University.
Dr. Brown married Edith A.
Agnew in New York in 1922.
They lived in New York and
Daytona Beach, Fla. before
moving here after Dr. Brown
retired in 1958. Mrs. Brown
died in 1961. Later Dr. Brown
married Edith Miller.

Dr. Brown was a pilot in
World War I and a physician
in the Medical Corps in
World War II.

He was a member of the
American Board of Psychiatry
and Neurology, the Association
of Military Surgeons, the
Army Reserve, the Masons,
and Bridgewater Congregational
Church.

Besides his wife he leaves a
sister, Mrs. Frank Hibben, Al-
bequerque, NM.

The funeral will be at 2 to-
morrow from the Wilcox Funeral
Home with the Rev. Carl H. Yettru,
former pastor of Bridgewater
Congregational Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Fairview.
