In November 1905, George W. Adams was employed by the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Company, as was his 27-year-old son, William F. Adams, who was employed as a car cleaner.

George was married to Almira Adams, who died September 5, 1922. Their residence was at 918 (or 922) H Street NE, Washington, D.C.

Their daughter-in-law, who was married to their son four years before, in 1901, was Bessie (Whitmire) Adams, age 24, of Forestville, Virginia, who lived in Washington City with their son and their two-year-old granddaughter, Alice Adams.

Their son and his family rented out rooms at their residence; and, in November 1905, WALTER BLOXTON was one of their boarders.
