K.C. Arnett, Jr., 83, of Rosemark, Tennessee, passed away on March 28, 2017. Mr. Arnett was the co-owner of Arnett's Auto Parts in the mid-1950s. After retiring from the trucking industry, he and his father established Arnett Tractor and Equipment, LLC in 1975. Their expertise in these fields allowed their companies to become among the largest in the industry in Shelby County. Mr. Arnett was involved in local civic organizations as well as several political campaigns in the state and county. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Millington, Tennessee. Mr. Arnett was a loving, generous, and adoring husband, father, and grandfather that will be deeply missed by his loved ones. His parents, K.C. and Pauline Arnett, as well as his sister, Marietta A. Harris, preceded him in death. His loving wife of 65 years, Doris Sanders Arnett; his children, Sandra A. Ford (Howard), Patricia A. Woods (Ronnie), Carey N. Arnett (Dana); his brother, Bobby M. Arnett; ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren survives him. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 31 from six until eight o'clock at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Road, Bartlett, Tennessee. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 1 at two o'clock at the same location. Interment will follow at Memphis Memory Gardens.
