She was born on March 27, 1931, in Kansas City, to Charles Arthur and Norma Francis (Wilcox) Kenney. She was a homemaker and a member of The Salvation Army. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter and two grandchildren. Her survivors include a son, Charles R. Hendley; three daughters, Suzzann Braggs, Cheyenne Griggs and Sally Harrison, all of Mesa; four grandchildren, Bob J. Jeffers, Springfield, Michael Shane Jeffers, Mesa, Marshall Hendley, Sugar Creek, and Tonia Hendley, Independence, and four great-grandchildren, Kyle Dilger, and Christopher, Jacob and Randy Jeffers. She was interred at Mount Washington Forever Cemetery in Independence, Missouri.
