She was second oldest of a family of twelve children.
On February 25, 1879 she was united in marriage to Charles Aebig of Hamburg, Ontario. To this union 10 children were born, 4 sons and 6 daughters.
In 1893 they, with their family, moved to Plymouth, Nebraska where Mr. Aebig was a contractor by trade. In June 1919 they moved to Chappell where they spent the remainder of their years. Her husband passed away June 17th, 1941. Mrs. Aebig entered the hospital in November where she had the best of care.
