Born in 1919 to William H. and Mamy Moon. Mary had six sisters and one brother. In 1939 she married L. D. Smith. they had four sons, Jack, Billy, Danny and Terry. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, three sisters, Ruthie Blanch Moon, Stella Wilson and Mina Oravetz. She was survived by her four sons; and three sisters Flora Tuttle, Opal Johnson, and Joan Arterberry; and brother William Moon, Jr.
