Son of John Reed and Mary J Ann "Hooper" Reed and husband of Wihelmina H (Minnie) "Kurlbaum" Reed and he was also married to Augusta (Pohlig) Thiebes Reed. Photo of stone appears to show date of death as Jan 30 1899...the cemetery record shows Jan 30 1879 and family records show 1879 as well. Benjamin is found in the 1880 census but not the 1900 so I believe the 1899 date is probably the correct date. Other family members and people close to the family agree that the date should be 1899.

Reed-Pohlig Cemetery is located in Boles Township Franklin Co Missouri near Labadie Missouri along Fiddle Creek Road between Hwys "T" and "100". This cemetery has also been known as Ridenhour Cemetery, Fiddle Creek Cemetery and is often called simply Reed Cemetery. It is said to be very unkept and there are many people buried here with either no markers or markers that you can no longer read.
