She was born April 25, 1946, daughter to the late Albert and Alma (Remley) Hossler.
Barbara was a graduate of Cambridge High School and received additional training for medical transcription. She was a clerical assistant at Medical Associates for 15 years and also earned a realtor's license.
Barbara attended the Bloomfield Presbyterian Church; she enjoyed bowling, gardening, was an avid reader and was a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James McCulley Sr., who passed away in December of 2013; and a son, Jimmy McCulley Jr.
Survivors include two sons, Jonathon (Glenda) McCulley of McCutchenville and Jason "J.D." (Tiffany) McCulley of Roseville; a daughter, Julie Scott of McCutchenville; a brother, Bruce (Myrna) Hossler of Madison, S.D.; two additional brothers, Rick and Dean; and two sisters, Patricia and Mary; eight grandchildren, Adrianna, Brogan, Madalyn, Jameson, Lynkin, Deklan, Heather (Tom) Sharp and Cassie (Bram) Walton; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
