SHARON, Miss. -- Steven Albert Harmon, 51, died Jan. 26, 2007, at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson.

Born Sept. 22, 1955, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., son of Fred and Thelma Harmon of Portageville, Mo., he was co-owner of Mitchell of Mississippi of Jackson, a food service broker and national sales manager of Harvest Select of Union, Ala. A member of Pinelak Baptist Church at Jackson, he was a graduate of Arkansas State University and a 1973 graduate of Portageville High School.

On June 15, 1990, he married Lisa Mitchell Hall who survives of the home.

Survivors in addition to his parents and wife include: one stepson, Grant Hall of the home; one brother and sister-in-law, Stan and Joan Harmon of Aiken, S.C.; father and mother-in-law, Glenn and Sylvia Mitchell of Brandon; one nephew, Brad Harmon and spouse, Ashley, of Vaucluse, S.C.; one niece, Sara Adams and her husband, Jason, of Warrenville, S.C.; and family and friends.

One stepson, Christopher Hall, preceded him in death.

Services were conducted Jan. 29 at Austin and Bell Funeral Home in White House, Tenn. Ricky Cunningham of Hardin, Ky., officiated assisted by Terry Goodin of White House.

Burial followed in White House Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers were: Mark Allen, Jerry Whittington, Lee Ballard, Bret Dunnaway, Jack Beasley and Jeff Robinson.
