Alda Maria Carter (nee Nucci), 88, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014.
Alda was born in Detroit, MI in 1925 and moved to Naples in 1971. She owned and operated a gift shop for 13 years.
Her husband of 59 years, Lucius Carter, preceded her in death in 2009. She is survived by two sons, Robert and Ken; daughter, Patricia Gates; sister, Carol Pierce; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Our sweet and kind mother will be dearly missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 28290 Beaumont Rd., Bonita Springs, FL 34134.
