Funeral services for Lou Ann Wooley, 62, of Canton, OK will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 6, 2017 at the Eagle City Christian Church with Pastor Monte Michaelson officiating. Interment will follow in Eagle City Cemetery under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Canton.

Lou Ann (Cox) Wooley was born October 28, 1954 at Thomas, OK to parents Loren and Mary (Plummer) Cox. She departed this life on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Oklahoma City, OK.

Lou Ann attended elementary school at Fay, OK and graduated from Canton High School with the class of 1972 as the Salutatorian. She also attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University at Weatherford. Lou Ann married Cleophas Wooley in 1974 at the Canton Christian Church. She formerly had owned a flower shop in Canton and currently owned and operated Movie Poster Service with her husband. Lou Ann enjoyed genealogy, decorating and quilting. Her family was of utmost importance to her.

Lou Ann was preceded in death by her father, Loren Cox. Survivors include her husband, Cleophas Wooley of Canton, OK; children Wendy Gammon of Seiling, OK, Alan Wooley and wife Lonnie of Marble Falls, TX and Brett Wooley of Eagle City, OK; her mother, Mary Cox of Eagle City, OK; four siblings, Alan Cox of Edmond, OK, Joyce Barclay and husband Dave of Lake Charles, LA, Bryan Cox and wife Crystal and Mark Cox and wife Amy, all of Eagle City, OK; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
