Daughter of Mr. George Birnie and of Magdalen Stewart his wife. Born 17th September 1811 Baptized 27th December 1811. St Paul's Church Records, Charlottetown, PEI.
It would be interesting to know why Anne was given so many names when other children were given 2 names at most.
A burial record for Bunhill Fields Cemetery states that Ann Birnie, a child of George Birnie of New Road, Gloucester Place, (London), age 11 months, was buried 3 June 1814. Bunhill Cemetery Old Plot 28-63. at 11 feet.
Is this the same Anne born 1811 but with wrong age? Or another child, perhaps a twin of Alexander who died a few months earlier.
