Ethan Skyler Arnold, age 17 of Macclenny, passed away Monday, April 3, 2017, after a near lifelong battle with brain cancer. He grew up in Baker County, attending local schools and visiting many of the local churches. Ethan enjoyed going to the beach and being near the water, fishing, and listening to music. He also enjoyed playing video games, especially his favorite, Zelda. Ethan loved his family and friends and spending time with them. He will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his polite and cheerful demeanor, impeccable manners, and as a very respectful "old soul". He is survived by his mother: Brooke Arnold of Macclenny; brother: Grayson Arnold of Macclenny; grandmother: Judy Pittman of Glen St. Mary; great grandmother: June Sanders Pittman of Branford, Florida; uncle: Patrick Ryan (Brook) Pittman of California; aunt: Chelsea Riane Pittman (Shawn) of Glen St. Mary; cousin: Sebastian Alexander Wiggins of Glen St. Mary; and best friends: Douglas Pennington of Glen St. Mary, Heath Bennett of Taylor, Bryce Donaldson of Jacksonville, and Blake Rhoden of Sanderson. Numerous other family members and friends also survive. A celebration of his life will be held 3:00pm, Friday, April 7, 2017 at Christian Fellowship Temple with Reverend Jim Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Manntown Cemetery, Glen St. Mary. His family will receive friends 6-8:00pm, Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Christian Fellowship Temple, Macclenny.
