Wallace James Bingham, 59, well known North Cache farmer died Friday morning at his home in Amalga, Utah.

He was born May 24, 1904 in Smithfield, Utah, a son of Parley Pratt and Isabell McFarland Bingham. He received his education in the County schools and has been a farmer in the Amalga area his entire lifetime.

Mr. Bingham was a breeder of registered quaterhorses, had served as a director of on the West Cache Irrigation Company, a director of the Smithfield Saddlers Club and director of the Cache County Turkey Association. He was a past member and director of the Smithfield Kiwanis Club.

He was well known for his building ability and had helped build the Smithfield Kiwanis Lodge and the feed plant at the Turkey Association.

A charter member 0f the Cache Valley Dairy Association he was a member of the Amalga LDS Church.

He married Ada Mae Wood on October 21, 1925 in Logan.
