Word has been received here that Mrs. Jessie H. Speed wife of Henry A. Graham, died at her home in Enfield, N.Y., on Tuesday, Aug. 13, aged 63 years.

Beside her husband she is survived by one son, Samuel H., and one daughter, Frances Speed Graham, one sister, Sallie P. Speed of Ithaca, and two brothers, R.G.H. Speed of Ithaca and Henry Linn Speed of Slaterville Springs.

The funeral was held from her late home in Enfield, Thursday morning and interment made in Lake View cemetery in Ithaca.

Mrs. Jessie Speed Graham will be remembered by many of the older residents of Homer, as both she and her sister and brother, R.G.H. Speed, were for several years pupils in Homer academy, in the sixties. Her daughter, Miss Frances Graham, was graduated from the Cortland Normal school a few years ago.

Mrs. Graham was a lovely young lady and during her school days here made many friends who will cherish only pleasant memories of her early life and whose sympathy will be extended to the sorrow stricken family.
