MUNCIE--Opal White, 100, passed away Friday morning, March 31, 2017 at Parker Health Care. She was born Jan. 2, 1917 in Clinton County, KY, the daughter of Hige and Sarah Jane (Savage) Means.
Survivors include her son, James White; and two grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hige and Sarah Jane Means; her husband, Harley White; a son, Norman White, and a grandson, Todd White.
Private graveside services will be held at Elm Ridge Memorial Park with Pastor James O. McCowan officiating, with burial to follow. Elm Ridge Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
