Bonnie led a very active life; she loved spending time with her family and friends. When she was not entertaining or volunteering, Bonnie took pleasure in reading and genealogy. She enjoyed traveling and was delighted to have visited all 50 states. Bonnie was an accomplished seamstress and quilter. Bonnie was a member of the Napier United Methodist Church and a life-long member of the United Methodist Women. She was also an active member of the PEO Sisterhood and the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution where she volunteered for numerous mission and education-related projects.
She is survived by a son, L. Earl Reger; a daughter, Mary Susan and son-in-law, Douglas Vande Lune; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
