Ralph Edward Class, Sr. formerly of Alexandria , passed away peacefully at his home at the age of 64 in Brooksville, KY at 10:38am on Monday, February 22, 2016. He was surrounded by his wife, children, & grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Joey Kremer in 1997 & his daughter Lea Class in 2011, along with his parents Alvin Class (1965) and Helen Class (2011) and his sister Betty Class (1969). Ralph worked for J.L.G. Flooring Company in in Loveland, OH and J.P. Flooring in West Chester, OH. He was also was a police officer for the city of Newport, KY and also a Fireman for the Northern Pendleton Fire Department in Peach Grove, KY. He loved nothing more than his music. He was a lead singer for the Dakota Band and Country Rock Connection Band. Ralph was also a member of the 2nd 12 mile Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sherry Hanson Class, his daughters; Emme Class and Lisa (Tommy) Beyersdoerfer, Kim Class, Joni (Brian) Brown, Jamie (Lee) Turner, and his son Ralph Class Jr. Grandchildren ; Lori (Jordan) Franzen, Rachel Tipton (Alex Abercrombie), Cody Class, Natasha MccMahon, Hannah Robertson, Shelby & Travis Turner, & Christina Beyersdoerfer, great grandchildren; Kayden & Kylee Franzen, Brantley Freeman, Caisley McMahon & Eli Beyersdoerfer, brothers; Marvin (Brenda) Class, & Carl (Mary Lou) Class. A visitation will be held on Saturday at Cooper Funeral Home in Alexandria from 12 noon ~ 5:00pm, with services beginning at 5:00pm. The burial will be private at the conveniences of the family.
