Ms. Marilyn Jablinowitz died on Thursday, April 6th in Manhattan, NY, at the age of 82. She was born on May 14, 1934 in Manhattan to the late Louis and Rose (Cohen) Jablinowitz. She graduated from Seward Park High School in 1952. For a number of years Marilyn worked as an administrative assistant in a variety of advertising companies. She was a witty individual who was passionate about the arts and was a faithful patron of the New York Public Library and the Metropolitan Opera House. She is survived by nieces, Roberta Greif of Newburgh, NY; Marcy Behar of Van Nuys, CA; Nina Fixler and Toby Davidian of Jerusalem, Israel; Her nephews, David Jablinowitz and Rabbi Michael Jablinowitz of of Jerusalem, Israel; Also by eighteen great nieces and nephews and several great-great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Charlotte, Fred, Neil and Marvin. She was laid to rest at Beth David Cemetery in Elmont.
