Alfred F. Clark, age 74, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at Meriter Hospital in Madison. Alfred was born on April 28, 1934 in Texhoma, Oklahoma, the son of Alfred Clyde and Jennie (Minter) Clark. As a small child Alfred and his parents moved to Hillpoint, WI. He grew up on a farm, and attended schools in the Hillpoint and Lime Ridge area. He married Marion Magli and together they raised three children, Dianne (Bill) Evans, Elizabeth (Terry) Spangler, and James (Tasha) Clark. Alfred achieved a lot during his lifetime, working as a farmer, a carpenter, and a maintenance technician. He loved hunting, fishing, and being in the outdoors. Alfred is survived by his loving wife Marion, his 3 children, 8 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. He his preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Albert Troy Clark. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, September 26, 2008 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 401 S. Owen Drive, Madison at 11:00 AM. A visitation will begin at 10:00 AM until the time of Mass. An entombment will take place immediately following the Mass at Resurrection Cemetery, 2705 Regent Street, in Madison. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
