COPPLE SERVICES - Malta
Funeral services for Charles Dewy Copple, 71, were held Wednesday at St. Francis Catholic Church in Saco with Father Harney officiating.
He was born July 16, 1898, in Sedan, Kan. He came to Montana in 1914 and lived on a homestead east of Malta with his parents, Mrs. and Mrs. J. W. Copple. For many years he worked on ranches in Phillips County. He married Mary Simpson in 1929 in Malta.
Mr. Copple is survived by is widow; two daughters, Mrs. Ed Pekovitch of Saco and Mrs. Robert Anderson of Green Bay, Wis.; three sons, Charles E. of Glasgow, William of Saco and David C. of Ventura, Calif.; a brother, Louis, of Bridger; three sisters, Mrs. Alta Hoke of Roundup, Mrs. Clarence Olson of Malta and Mrs. Stanley Carlson of Sparks, Nev.; and 13 grandchildren.
